Sculptra is a collagen biostimulator made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a material used in medicine for over 30 years. Rather than filling a line with volume, the PLLA microparticles signal your fibroblasts to produce new collagen, so firmness and contour are rebuilt gradually over the months following treatment.

Both are collagen stimulators, but the material differs. Sculptra uses PLLA and is typically placed deeper to support facial volume and contour across whole regions such as the midface and temples. Juvelook combines PDLLA with hyaluronic acid as a skin booster focused on skin quality and hydration. A physician advises which suits your goals.

As a general guide, approximately one vial per decade of age, delivered over 2–3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart. The exact number depends on your degree of volume loss and goals, and is confirmed by your physician at assessment.
