Medical Certificates Bangkok

Walk in or book at Healthi Life in Ekkamai, Bangkok. A licensed doctor performs a quick medical check — with a lab test where required — and your certificate is issued immediately in English and Thai. The visit is short and the certificate is handed to you before you leave.

The work permit certificate confirms you are free of six prohibited conditions: leprosy, tuberculosis, syphilis (verified by a blood test, included in the price), elephantiasis, drug addiction and chronic alcoholism. Our official certificate is accepted by the Ministry of Labor.

Thai authorities require a medical certificate issued within the last 30 days by a licensed Thai physician. Ours is issued on the spot and meets Ministry of Labor requirements.

At Healthi Life: sick leave and sports certificates are ฿400, work permit and driver's license certificates ฿500, and fitness to fly ฿1,200.

Generally 30 days for work permit purposes. Some authorities accept certificates up to 60 days old — check with the organization requesting the document.

Your passport, plus any embassy or employer forms that need to be completed. Payment is by cash or card.

Under the Thai Labour Protection Act, an employer may require a medical certificate once sick leave reaches three consecutive working days or more. A sick leave certificate is ฿400 at Healthi Life and is issued the same day, so you can hand it to HR as soon as you are back.
