What it is
Super Omega-3 is a high-concentration marine oil standardized for its two active long-chain fatty acids β EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). These are the omega-3s the body cannot make efficiently and most modern diets under-supply.
EPA and DHA are incorporated directly into cell membranes throughout the body, where they influence membrane fluidity, the resolution of inflammation and how cells signal. A concentrated formulation delivers a meaningful EPA + DHA dose without excess total oil.
At Healthi Life, Super Omega-3 is introduced within a physician-guided plan β most often after an advanced health check-up and as part of our longevity programs. Eligibility, dose and suitability are determined after a medical consultation.
Why concentration and purity matter
Not all fish oil is equal. What matters is the actual EPA + DHA content per softgel and the freshness of the oil β omega-3s oxidize readily, and oxidized oil is counterproductive. A concentrated, purified formulation delivers more active fatty acid per capsule and is screened for oxidation and for contaminants such as heavy metals, so the dose that reaches you is both meaningful and clean.

Why with your largest meal
Omega-3s are fat-soluble and absorb best alongside dietary fat, so taking them with your largest meal of the day improves uptake and reduces the fishy aftertaste some people notice on an empty stomach. Consistency matters more than exact time of day, as omega-3s build up in cell membranes over weeks. Your physician sets the EPA + DHA dose to your profile.
Safety note β bleeding risk & interactions
High-dose omega-3 has a mild blood-thinning effect. Note the following:
- At higher doses omega-3 can add to the effect of anticoagulant or antiplatelet medication β review with your physician if you take warfarin, a DOAC, aspirin or clopidogrel.
- Combined with other blood-thinning supplements (nattokinase, ginkgo, high-dose vitamin E), the effect is additive.
- Choose a purified, oxidation-tested oil; discontinue and review if you notice reflux or a persistent fishy aftertaste, which can indicate an oxidized product.
- If you have a fish or shellfish allergy, review the source before starting.
